I mean,jeez!It's not like I killed somebody!I just got some ink.I'm aware of the fact that it's permanent,but I can't ever see myself regretting it.Can someone fill me in on this?

they come from a different generation. in our generation it's accepted, almost normal to have a tattoo, we understand that you can still be a normal person and have a great career even if you have tattoos. in their generation there was this stigma that only gangsters and hoodlums got tattoos. people hold on to the belief systems they had when they were younger.
some are ok tho, my mom got her first tattoo when she was in her early 30's and i was in middle school, and she doesnt care about mine or me getting more as long as i dont get ones that cant be covered.
