What kind of sports and music did royalty like in the 1500s-1700s?

The music of the period...just search music of that time...The beginning would be fairly simple...lutes and mandolins...a few instruments in an ensemble. Towards the end of your period, you are looking at Baroque...fugues and toccatas...Bach and the like.

For sports, there are a number of sports that were popular during that period...Royalty and nobility really enjoyed staging jousting tournaments...competing in everything from horseback riding and hunting, to archery, fencing and tennis. Again, a search would probably be pretty simple.
