I never really checked. And if they do, what will happen if I use an expired ink?(for people who'll tell me to do it myself to find out, I wish I could but I don't have any expired ink)

Hi,

Yes all inks have an expiration date on them.

Does this mean they won't work properly, this depends on how long and where they have been stored. Some ink cannot withstand extreme hot or cold temperatures. Most inks should not be exposed to sunlight, for this damages the color quality.

Some cartridges may work fine years after they expire, some may not. The thing about expired ink is that the manufacturer will not warranty them, and they do not warranty your hardware either.

So the shelf life of an ink cartridge cannot be defined in a simple one or 2 word answer. Try it out, see if it works, good luck.
