Ok guys....i want a good cheap printer to do text and some prints...nothing fancy,no bells and whistles...cheap ink,cheap paper,good results...

Avoid Epsons what ever you do. Rubbish printers and rip off on ink. I would say Canon but HP are nice little printers.

Unfortunately all manufactures sting on the ink, but Epsons are the worst as they won the right to stall their printers with a low ink warning when a considerable amount of ink is still in them. They claim it is a design feature! It's called a rip of feature!

They say Kodak are the cheapest on ink but as I have never owned one I can not comment.
